haiku from the deep blue

Five, seven, and five,
Seven haiku on breathing
In water and light.

Primrose Field at Sunset
Yellow flowers bloom
Golden in the dying light,
New fire as old fades.

A Haiku
The red sun rises
Up in a blaze of glory;
But soon, it must set.

Haiku?
I don't want to die.
There's so much I want to do,
I am not dead yet.

Grey
Raindrops on my face—
It's only rain, nothing else—
Grey skies, greyer eyes.

Fruit Poem
I dream often of
Fruit—the scent of oranges,
And the taste of rot.

Haiku From the Deep Blue
You smile a shark's smile,
Teeth glinting in the moonlight
Like pearls round my neck.

(Art: Monk by the Sea, 1809, by Caspar David Friedrich)
